Polo Fall Classic Fundraiser to Benefit Project Self-Sufficiency
ALLAMUCHY — Tickets are still available for the third and final can’t miss charity polo experience of the season, the Project-Self Sufficiency Fall Classic, scheduled at the Grayfields Polo Club on Saturday, Sept. 13 (rain date is Sunday, Sept. 14). Grayfields Polo Club is located at 134 Long Bridge Road, a short distance from Route 80, off Exit 19.
Proceeds from the event will directly support Project Self-Sufficiency, a multifaceted, private Sussex County non-profit organization. Headquartered on a 5-acre Newton campus at 127 Mill St., Project Self-Sufficiency supports individuals and families in northwestern New Jersey (Sussex, Warren, and Hunterdon Counties) through multiple programs, from educational to childcare to legal advocacy, and more.

Gates open at 12 p.m. for the one-of-a-kind afternoon, which includes The Pony Bar (a cash bar), best hat and tailgate contests, a silent auction, the halftime divot stomp tradition and a post-game after-party with live music.
Ticket options for the charity match offer something for everyone, including tickets for the VIP Tent, tailgate spaces and general admission tickets. Tickets must be purchased online prior to the event at www.njpolo.org/products/project-self-sufficiency-polo-benefit, where more information about each ticket type is available.
After tickets are ordered via the website, a digital ticket confirmation will be emailed. Wristbands and car passes — each required for entry to the event — will be sent to ticket buyers at the shipping address they provide with their order. That package will additionally contain information about arrival times for tailgate space setups and other pertinent details about the event.
The two previous charity matches of the 2025 season were outstanding successes that are expected to return for the 2026 season. The Semper Fi & America’s Fund Invitational was the first, held on June 21. The second was the Catholic Academy of Sussex County Polo Classic on August 23.
The Grayfields Polo Club, founded in 2022, is proudly sanctioned by the United States Polo Association (USPA). The polo club has partnered with NJ Polo™, the 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting charities through these world-class polo fundraisers.
